This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z035-20-Q-JPZ00700 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06. The associated NAICS code is 333999 and the small business size standard is 500. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. ITEMS BEING REQUESTED: QTY 01 EA OF DEGAUSSER W/INTERNAL GAUSS METERS QTY 01 EA ACD-HS AUTO CRUSHING DEVICE QTY 01 EA DEGAUSSER/CRUSHER MOBILE CART QTY 01 JB ESTIMATED SHIPPING COST Statement of Work USCG D17 Creation Date: 21 May 2020 Title: Degausser, Hard Drive Destroyer, and cart for devices Places of Performance: U.S. Coast Guard District 17, 709 W 9th St, Juneau, AK 99801 Requirement: Degausser Degausser must be listed in the NSA Evaluated Products List-Degausser (EPL-Degausser) for 3,000 Oersted tape and 5,000 Oersted (L) and (P) hard disk drives. Degausser must be a “Desktop Type Degausser” and be listed in the NSA EPL- Degausser for purging classified/ sensitive information from perpendicular (P) and longitudinal (L) recorded hard disk media Power 100-120v Degausser must accept multiple media formats per cycle to increase throughput. Degausser must accept tapes and hard disk drives up to 1” high by 4.3” wide by 6” deep, including all formats of DLT, LTO, 8 mm, DDS and hard drives without disassembly. Degausser must provide a digital NUMERICAL display of the magnetic field strength to indicate the unit is operating at its specified strength for each cycle. Degausser must retain energy between cycles reducing the amount of energy consumed and providing a GREEN Energy Efficient degausser. Degausser must have a footprint no larger than 27” x 27” and weigh no more than 120 lbs. Degausser must have an illuminated POWER switch numerical STRENGTH display, and NORMAL, FAULT, OPEN and CLOSE indicators. Hard Drive Destroyer Device must have passed NSA Evaluation for Hard Disk Drive Destruction. Device must be listed in the National Security Agency (NSA) Evaluated Products List-Hard Disk Destruction Devices (EPL-HDD Destruction) as meeting these requirements. Power 110-120v Disk Drive Bender must accept multiple hard drives without disassembly Disk drive destruction device must accept hard drives up to 1.7” x 4” x 6” without disassembly. Must accept hard disk drives up to 1” high by 4.3” wide by 6” deep Disk Drive Bender must have the following safety features: A shatterproof, transparent safety door to protect operator from process pinch points and flying debris. An emergency stop button. Disk Drive Bender must have a durable ram Disk Drive Bender footprint no greater than 15” x 15” and weigh no more than 100 pounds Cart Degausser and Disk Drive Bender must be on a heavy duty steel mobile cart, with heavy duty wheels The cart must be made out of steel and must be no larger than 30” w x 36” d, in order to provide mobility through standard doorways. The cart must have heavy duty, locking wheels.
