DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The contractor will provide all labor, materials, services, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the repair of the gutter system to ensure proper water flow and prevent any potential damage to the building. Place of Performance: USCG Station Cape Disappointment 322 Coast Guard Rd. Ilwaco, WA 98624 Special qualifications: The contractor shall remove the existing gutter system on the Station School House building at USCG Station Cape Disappointment. The contractor shall install a new gutter system, including approximately 750 linear feet of gutters, downspouts, and all necessary hangers and fixtures to ensure proper drainage. The installation must meet current USCG facility standards and local building codes. The contractor shall also inspect and repair any damaged fascia boards or soffits associated with the gutter system to ensure structural integrity and proper function. Refer to the statement of work in part 5 for more on the detailed tasks. Classification: This acquisition is set aside small business. The NAICS code is 238170 Classified as Downspout gutter and gutter guard installation. The contract type will be firm fixed price purchase order. All offers that are submitted late (by day and time zone) and quotes that do not include a breakdown of cost will not be considered in award determination. Award: It is the government’s intent to select for award to the one responsible quote which proposes a price that is fair and reasonable and provides the best value to the government that meets or exceeds the specifications of the requirement. The contracting officer will evaluate the proposals based on past performance and technical acceptability. Quotes determined to be incomplete, unreasonable, or unrealistic will not be considered for award. Under FAR 4.1103 prospective contractor shall be registered in System Award Management (SAM) prior to award.
