The United States Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound is interested in contracting with a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive training, within the Sector AOR, for No More than 25 USCG Marine Inspectors in the subject of sail-vessel rigging systems inspections aboard USCG-inspected passenger vessels. This training is to provides candidates with essential vessel systems familiarization and problem-identification skills for inspected vessels throughout the nation. Training addresses standards set out in COMDTPUB P16700.4, CG-CVC NVIC 02-16. Training format is 5 days of classroom instruction with hands-on practicum assignments and field trips. Training to be delivered at Northwest Maritime Center, Port Townsend, Washington. This training is to be delivered by sail and rigging surveyors familiar with USCG inspections program and USCG inspections training requirements.
