General Description: This pre-solicitation synopsis provides notice to industry of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Research and Development Center's intent to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial services utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain services to remove and dispose of wastewater and sludge from the USCG's burn pan located at the Maritime Test Facility on Little Sand Island (LSI) in Mobile, AL. The requirements will also include an option to provide 60,000 gallons of fresh water to fill the interior burn pan. This option may be ordered once. Complete details will be provided with the RFQ. The RFQ is anticipated to be released on or around July 18, 2019 and it will be posted to this site. The closing date is anticipated to be on or around July 31, 2019. A single award, Firm Fixed Price purchase order is anticipated. Selection Process: The award decision will be made based on Price and Technical Approach using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation process. All information required for submission of an offer will be described in the RFQ. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
