Small business set aside; The applicable NAICS code is 236220 (small business size standard is $45.0M). A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced offeror. Registration in the System for Award Management, https://www.beta.sam.gov, is a prerequisite to bidding. Payment and performance bond not required. The US Coast Guard Station at Grand Isle, LA requires the replacement of two staircases, which if left under the current condition, are likely to result in structural failure and thus injury to persons and damage to property. The current condition of the two staircases attest to protracted termite damage, weathering, and deterioration. The materials of the new staricases are to exceed that of the current i.e. have a higher quality of resistance to the above causes. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work. Period of Performance: The contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete it within negotiable calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.
