This is a solicitation for the repair of a sewer line located at the Coast Guard Cutter (CGC) Patoka, 1797 Harbor Front Rd., Greenville, MS 38701. This solicitation is for a non-commercial requirement prepared in accordance with the FAR Part 36 and FAR Part 13. The solicitation number is 70Z02923QNEWO001 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are attached. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR Part 36. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word. This is a small business set aside, the applicable NAICS code is 238220 and small business size standard is $16.5M. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov. The US Coast Guard Cutter Patoka has a requirement to repair a main sewage line, to include the following description: Intent. Contractor shall inspect the sewer line starting from the main sewage vault going out under the buoy pen to the vault halfway to the main road, confirm damaged areas and make repairs associated with findings, to include rerouting the sewer line around the buoy pen. Contractor shall inspect/test all installed drainage prior to and post completion of work. Contractor shall provide photographs of all inspected surfaces and dispose of all waste. CHARACTERISTICS: 6” PVC piping and various PVC fittings. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work. Greenville, MS 38701 FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Date and place of delivery and acceptance is on or before January 31, 2023.
