This solicitation is for a contractor to provide a team of divers to perform demolition of fixed Aids to Navigation in Mobile Bay, Alabama. All work shall take place at three different locations on the water: (1) Mobile Channel B RFL - GPS position (30-15-26.283N; 088-02-28.558W) located at the mouth of Mobile Bay. (2) Mobile Channel B RRL - GPS position (30-15-44.102N; 088-02-32.075W) located at the mouth of Mobile Bay. (3) Mobile Channel D RFL - GPS position (30-26-45.235N; 088-00-40.684W) located at Middle Bay lighthouse. The contractor is to provide their own vessel for transit, tools, barge, crane, and underwater cutting equipment. US Coast Guard will not be on scene to assist. Proposed period of performance is August 15th through September 2nd, 2022. This performance period is negotiable. Performance and payment bonds are not required. A firm fixed price construction contract will be issued to the offeror with the lowest priced offer. This is set-aside 100% for small business. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of Labor wage determination AL20220092 are attached and are applicable.
