As the manufacturer of the system they maintain the proprietary rights to the parts needed, which makes them the sole source. This procurement will be made on behalf of Aids to Navigation Team, New Orleans. Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. NAICS Code # 336112 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 1500 CST 25 Mar 2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to ALTEC Industries, INC.
