This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of this combine synopsis/solicitation is for the SHORT TERM LOT PARKING SPACES PAINTING AND DESIGN OF NEW TRAFFIC SCHEME at USCG Base Charleston, SC. The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide qualified individuals, labor, tools, equipment and materials to painting new parking space markings to maximize the number of parking spots. Contractor shall design new traffic scheme for the Short Term Lot parking layout to submit for approval. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the entire Statement of Work (SOW) and it’s highly recommended to visit the facility for evaluations and to become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed, along with verifying all measurements. The service shall be conducted during normal work operation hours (0700-1700) or (7:00 am to 5:00 pm), Monday through Friday except for Federal Holidays). Access to the site shall not be permitted on the weekends or holidays without prior approval from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in writing. The contractor shall adhere to all safety requirements. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the project at US Coast Guard Base Charleston, SC. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The award will be based on Best Value to the Government.
