Updated 9/25/20 @ 12:55 PM -Update includes new Q&A in the attached -Solicitation deadline has been extended; closes on 9/30/2020 @ 11:00 am This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of this solicitation is for monthly trash and recycling collection services with a base year plus option years in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Base year service shall begin OOA 0/1/2020 – 9/30/2021. WDOL wage rates apply, WDOL Duval County, FL, 2015-4540 Revision # 12 attached. Follow on Option Years: Option year 1: Oct 1, 2021 – Sep 30 2022 Option year 2: Oct 1, 2022 – Sep 30 2023 Option year 3: Oct 1, 2023 – Sep 30 2024 Option year 4: Oct 1, 2024 – Sep 30 2025 The contractor shall perform service immediately after receipt of order. The contractor shall pickup trash and recycle bin containers in accordance with the Statement of Work. It is highly recommended that all interested parties visit the facilities to make a full evaluation and become familiar with the existing conditions. Site visit will take place at the location stated on the Statement of Work (SOW). The facility shall remain in operation throughout the service. Contractor access to the service site area shall be limited to 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Access to the sites are not permitted after normal working hours or weekends without prior written approval at least 72 hours in advance from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Contractor must be registered in SAM before submitting a quote under this solicitation. The award will be made by best value. Best value will be determined by 1. Past performance of contractor for 3 years and must be registered with NAICS code 562111. 2. Price of pickup per container based on SOW. Cost will vary monthly depending on usage. Contract terms is Firm Fixed price based on the Statement of Work (SOW).
