The purpose of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for Carpet Replacement Service. The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove, replace, dispose of minor refuse, excess or waste materials of carpet of 12 living quarter state rooms onboard the USCGC Webber. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools. Contractor shall protect all equipment and merchandise in work locations. The completion of the Carpet Replacement requirements are listed in the SOW. Upon acceptance the Contractor shall commence work as per scheduled not to interfere with unit operational schedule. All additional costs for only general floor condition resurfacing shall be provided in writing prior to any additional work not listed on the initial quote is conducted. The work date shall be coordinated with the unit based off its operational scheduled requirements. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the complete scope of work and highly recommended to visit the cutter to verify conditions and measurements. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the project at US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach. The U. S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this solicitation. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this solicitation. The United States Coast Guard Contracting Office will evaluate all quotes and intends to satisfy this requirement through a formal acquisition process. All quotes must be received before the solicitation close. Please see the attached SOW and related documents for the specifics of the requirements.
