See below RFI: Because some hot work will be performed (Steel cutting by grinding or with flame cutting), I am interested in knowing if the gas tank besides the canopy has any open vent that throws flammable gases into the atmosphere. There is a vent on the tank. Fumes can come off the tank at two locations, from the tank vent and a funnel fill port. All precautions must be put into the bid and in place by contractors to protect this tank from igniting or taking any damages for this project. Is there any flammable material or any other material on top of the metal roof? – Do you have by any chance pictures of the current condition? There is the roofing material on the roof top. Please see the attached picture of both the roof material and the 3,000 gallon gasoline tank.
