This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for work to include Contractor will remove and replace damaged section of cast iron pipe located underground outside the main entrance to the BEQ. Contractor will open floor near toilets and replace 01 P-trap and drain, floor will be closed, install new tile and matched to existing floor tile. Contractor will open west wall and install new waste arms to 03 urinals, close wall, match new tile to existing wall tile and mount 06 new urinals. Contractor will install 02 new urinals on east wall, install new waste arms, close wall, and match new tile to existing wall tile. Contractor will remove a 2’x 2’ section of damaged flooring tile around floor drain near entrance to locker room and install new tile to match existing tile. Contractor will remove 02 hand sinks, cut remove section of vanity, cap vanity, install deep sink and plumb in deep sink to existing potable water supply and waste drain lines. Contractor will remove sink, vanity, and install drinking fountain to potable water lines and drain lines in lobby of BEQ. Contractor will restore wall to match existing wall. Contractor shall install all plumbing following international plumbing code 702.2, 702.3, 702.4, 703.5, and 704.1. Contractor will close wall and floor following building code. Outside ground will be restored with sod and concrete if sections of sidewalk were removed. SITE VISIT: Site visit will be conducted on Thursday August 19 2021 @ 9:30AM. U.S. Coast Guard shall provide 06 new urinals, 01 deep sink, 01 drinking fountains, and floor and wall tiles. Contractor shall ensure all safety precautions are taken prior to and during the removal process to ensure the safety of Contracting personnel and USCG property. Upon removal of damaged plumbing, contractor shall ensure install site is cleaned and ready for installation of new plumbing and old plumbing is removed from Coast Guard property. Upon completion of work contractor shall ensure install site is cleaned and ready for final inspection of site before turning site back over to Coast Guard personnel. Ruff in plumbing inspection required and approved by CG Personal. Inspection to meet International plumbing code 702.2, 702.3, 702.4, 703.5, and 704.1. If as-built design changes during this work contractor is required to provide new as-built drawing in FPD and AutoCad. A copy provided on CD to CG personal. Cleanup: Upon completion, all debris caused from the project shall be removed and disposed of immediately from government property at the contractor’s expense.
