Any item identified as being furnished by the CG shall be considered as a Government Furnished Item (GFI). This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as a Small Business Set Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z028-21-Q-ABAJ6. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors, size standard: $14.0 Mil. This requirement is for a Firm Fixed Price contract. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and FAR part 15. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. The USCG is in need of a qualified contractor to replace pool finish surface. The pool marcite finish is breaking off into the water. Finish on the pool is over seven years old. Requesting contractor use CG pool equipment to drain pool as outlined in Florida regulations, replace all surfaces of pool marcite finish, and refill the pool using local fire hydrant and treating new water with all appropriate chemicals to return to an operating pool safe to swim. Information on the pool is outline in the attachment; volume 197,200 gallons, area is 3,258 Sq ft., and perimeter is 235.92 ft. Building Name and number, Water Survival Training Facility #7933. Prior to submitting a quote, it is required to examine the SOW and it is highly recommended to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc, and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work is performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference call held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater. See attached SOW’s for details. Site Visit is highly recommended and will be provided on Wednesday Apr 28 2021 between 8:00am EST and 11:00am EST. This will be the only day allowed to visit the site.
