The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: 1. Monthly cost to include pickup and delivery of tools for calibration Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can: a. Show competencies in the service requested b. Provide past performance documentation c. Provide service schedule for tool calibration Final cost of service will also be used for the basis of the award. The tools identified in the attached spreadsheet are used for Aircraft Maintenance at Coast Guard Air Station Miami, Opa Locka, Fl. This solicitation is for a Base Quote for FY2021 from October 1st, 2020 through September 30th, 2021, plus 4 option years. 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor for the option years provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause.
