This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word “offer/offeror” or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to “quote/quoter” or a derivative of that word. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the business size standard is $8,000,000. Contract terms will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order (PO). U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston requires landscaping services for a total period of performance beginning around May 1, 2022 or within 5 days after award, and ending November 30, 2022. Service requirements are needed at two (2) separate locations, within the same zip code. All interested parties should review and become familiar with the attached two (2) scope of works (SOW) for the locations. A fixed site visit is scheduled Monday May 2, 2022 9:00AM EST.
