The U.S. Coast Guard plans to award a single-award IDIQ contract for the design, construction, testing, delivery, and lifecycle support of the Homeland Security Cutter - Light (HSC-L) vessel program. These multi-mission vessels will recapitalize the domestic icebreaking and waterways commerce support fleet. The contract is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 336611, using a phased advisory down-select evaluation for best-value tradeoffs.
