This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research only and is not a solicitation for proposals. The US Coast Guard seeks information from potential offerors capable of conducting a technical assessment and providing a demonstration for modernizing Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) technologies and operations in the Lower Mississippi River area near New Orleans. The work involves a port assessment, developing a transformation plan, and presenting a technical demo with rough order of magnitude costs for replacement and sustainment, all at zero cost to the government. Interested vendors should submit a 1-2 page response for evaluation during the third or fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026. Performance of the assessment and demo would be focused on the VTS Area for the Lower Mississippi River, which extends from the Southwest Pass to north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
