Please see attached for the Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity (Exceeding the SAT pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(B). The United States Coast Guard (USCG) issued a sole source Task Order (TO), for a period of performance (PoP) of 12-months (3-month base period and three 3-month option periods) using the authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C). The requested interim TO was necessary to maintain mission critical program management, logistics, engineering, acquisition, technical, cost, and scheduling specialist services for the USCG Office of Acquisitions Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) Program Office (COMDT (CG-9327)) while a five-year follow-on competitive award is pending completion.
