This notice does not commit the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to contract for any supply or service and USCG is not currently seeking proposals or quotes - USCG is solely seeking information at this time. USCG will not pay any costs incurred in response to this SSN; all costs associated with responding to this SSN will be solely at the interested party's expense. Contract No. 70Z02321CAC400700 was awarded to Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (LM-RMS) for the engineering services to support development, integration and sustainment of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to modify the sole source contract to increase the estimated value. The scope/tasking of the engineering services contract has not changed since the contract was awarded. However, the level of activities and performance needed for the development of the Sea Commander Virtualization design has increased due to Common Source Library (CSL) software engineering alignment and information assurance/engineering effort associated with the cyber security requirements for the C4ISR systems. Unless USCG finds an alternative or a similiarly capable service, USCG intends to modify this contract to Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems by September 2023.
