The Formal Contracts Division (CG-9121) of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Office of Contract Operations intends to solicit for procurement of services to support the USCG Force Readiness Command Career Investment Division (FC-Ci). The purpose of the resulting task order will be to expand an existing self-assessment application called “MilGears” as detailed in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) - provided with this announcement. Solutions for Information Design (SOLID), LLC of Fairfax Station, VA (http://www.solidinfodesign.com/) developed MilGears for the Department of Defense (DoD). Subject to the results of its market research, USCG intends to solicit SOLID for services to upgrade and update MilGears on a sole source basis. This procurement is published in the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Acquisition Planning Forecast System (APFS) as record number F2023060915 - Enhancement and Expansion of Career Exploration and Talent Management Decision Support System. This updated notice provides a revised draft SOW.
