The U.S. Coast Guard Research and Development Center (RDC) gathered information from industry regarding commercial cognitive training programs to assess available cognitive training technologies and methods. The RDC paid particular interest in response inhibition cognitive training programs to determine viability to improve Coast Guard (CG) personnel’s reaction times without degrading accuracy or improve accuracy without degrading reaction times for decisions made under pressure (e.g., go/no-go or stop signal decision-making under pressure).
