This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation Number 70Z02322QAPO00002 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement incorporates provision and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is Unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The US Coast Guard Surface Acquisitions Logistics Center (SALC) intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price Contract for the towing and ship breaking of the ex-USCGC Cuttyhunk and ex-USCGC Chandeleur located in Ketchikan, Alaska in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) (Attachment 1). Pricing should be provided on Attachment 2 and submitted with the vendor’s quote. The Provisions and Clauses applicable to this solicitation are included in Attachment 3. All technical inquiries and questions relating to this RFQ are to be submitted to Nichol Fitzpatrick via e-mail at nichol.a.fitzpatrick@uscg.mil by June 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST. Responses to questions will be provided via RFQ amendment. A formal notice of changes, if applicable, will be issued in SAM (www.SAM.gov) via amendment(s). It is each vendor's individual responsibility to monitor the SAM system for changes.
