This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is it a promise to issue either a competitive RFP or a competitive RFQ. This notice does not commit the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to contract for any supply or service and USCG is not currently seeking proposals or quotes - USCG is solely seeking information at this time. USCG will not pay any costs incurred in response to this SSN; all costs associated with responding to this SSN will be solely at the interested party's expense. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure Aircraft/ Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Maintenance & Support for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, repair and maintenance of aircraft systems and sub-systems, flight inspections and Aviation Life Support Equipment repair. All Aircraft maintenance will be performed in support of USCG Air Station Atlantic City. All Aviation Life Support Equipment maintenance will be performed in support of Aviation Training Center Mobile AL. Due to system restrictions the "Place of Performance" block will only allow for one (1) entry, but work will be performed in both Atlantic City, New Jersey and Mobile, AL. The Contractor shall provide trained and qualified personnel to perform the required Aircraft Maintenance Services and the required support to include, but not limited to: scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, repair and maintenance of aircraft systems and sub-systems, all flight inspections, and inspection, overhaul, and repair of ALSE (for ATC Mobile). The Aviation Life Support Equipment technician shall be a graduate of USCG Aviation Survival Technician “A” School. Interested vendors shall submit a detailed capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Sharita L. Leathers (Sharita.L.Leathers@uscg.mil) and the Contract Specialist, Ms. Deloris Miller (Deloris.Miller@uscg.mil). Such statements shall be limited to ten (10) pages or less. Vendor capability statements shall address the following: 1. The company name, 2. The company's physical address, 3. The company's point-of-contact with a current phone number and email address, 4. A statement as to whether the company is small or large within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 488190, "Other Support Activities for Air Transportation", 5. The company's Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, and 6. An overview of the company's capability in providing Aircraft/Aviation Life Support Equipment Maintenance. All submissions are due by 2:00 pm, EST on December 31, 2020.
