This notice does not constitute a commitment by the government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the government. The United States Coast Guard Finance Center (USCG-FINCEN) is searching for small business firms to provide manufacturing, packaging and shipment of a new ribbon, ribbon frame, and lapel pin in accordance with The Institute of Heraldry (TIOH) military specifications (MILSPECS) included in attachments (1) - (2). As part of its market research, USCG-FINCEN is issuing this sources sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested small business contractors capable of providing the requirement. The government may use the responses to this sources sought for information and planning purposes. Attached is a copy of the statement of work (SOW). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement may be NAICS Code, 339999 - All other Miscellaneous Manufacturing. There is no solicitation at this time; therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation. This Sources Sought does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this request is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred nor is obligated to respond. Responses to this sources sought are not quotes on which the USCG-FINCEN can issue any contract. The government does not intend to award a contract or BPA based only on responses to this sources sought. All information received in response to this sources sought marked “proprietary” will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the sources sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this sources sought.
