The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure on a sole source basis two (2) 4-Bottle Oxygen Servicing Carts (Part Number 2022278) to Include: Transport Tie Down Rings Cart Cover Custom White Color (USCG Requirement) Low Pressure Regulator Kit for LOX Purging (0-600) Desiccant Filter Assembly Crating and two (2) Static Ground Reels (50’ with Alligator Clip and Spring rewind) (Part Number 2000964) in support of the HC-130J transition to Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii. USCG intends to procure these carts using simplified acquisition procedures and in accordance with FAR Part 13.106(b)(1) to Aero Specialties Incorporated. Aero Specialties Inc., is the OEM for this equipment and they own the necessary technical data. Aero Specialties Inc., has not sold the manufacturing/technical data to any other vendor. They are currently the only source that supplies the oxygen servicing carts. The USCG does not possess adequate technical descriptions to provide to potential new sources. This is not a request for quotes. A solicitation package will not be issued.
