The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure on a sole source basis three (3) sets of the Dowty designed R391 Environmentally Protective Transport & Storage (EPTS) containers referred to as the “Aero-Propeller Bags” and ‘Aero-Engine Bags” in support of the HC-130J transition to Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii. USCG intends to procure these bags using simplified acquisition procedures and in accordance with FAR Part 13.106(b)(1) to Aerotest Limited. The Propeller OEM (Dowty) does not authorize use of any other storage, transportation, or preservation prop bag based on Dowty warranty stipulations other than Aero-Propeller bags and engine bags manufactured by Aerotest Limited. Aerotest Limited is the OEM of the HC-130J Propeller R391 Aero-Prop bag Part # ATL-1111-001-G (Green) and Engine Bag Part # ATL1175-001-G (Green). The manufacturing process information is proprietary to Aerotest Limited. This is not a request for quotes. A solicitation package will not be issued.
