This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is it a promise to issue either a competitive RFP or a competitive RFQ. This notice does not commit the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to contract for any supply or service and USCG is not currently seeking proposals or quotes - USCG is solely seeking information at this time. USCG will not pay any costs incurred in response to this SSN; all costs associated with responding to this SSN will be solely at the interested party's expense. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure on a sole-source basis various Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) components and Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) components for MH-65E production over a period of four (4) years. All components shall be delivered to the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. USCG intends to procure these CAAS and AFCS components from Collins Aerospace, as Collins Aerospace is the single manufacturer of both these components. The part numbers and estimated quantities can be found in the attached MH-65 Components List. If a vendor besides Collins Aerospace can provide these components, or if a vendor can provide a product that provides the same capabilities, please provide such information in writing to the USCG Contract Specialist, Ms. Ashley Thomas, by email at ashley.thomas@uscg.mil with a copy sent to the USCG Contracting Officer, Mr. Nate Dolezal, by email at Nate.Dolezal@uscg.mil. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to be considered by USCG. To be considered, all submissions are due by 04:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, 04 March 2020. Unless USCG finds an alternative manufacturer of the components or a similiarly capable product, USCG intends to solicit and award this contract to Collins Aerospace by November, 2020.
