This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor is it a promise to issue either a competitive RFP or a competitive RFQ. This notice does not commit the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to contract for any supply or service and USCG is not currently seeking proposals or quotes - USCG is solely seeking information at this time. USCG will not pay any costs incurred in response to this SSN; all costs associated with responding to this SSN will be solely at the interested party's expense. USCG intends to procure twenty (20) Video Processing Module 8600A (VPM-8600A), which have a part number of 822-2017-001. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for these parts is Collins Aerospace, specifically Intertrade (which is a part of Collins). USCG is posting this notice to see if there are any alternative sources for these modules. Refurbished components are acceptable as long as they are certified by the OEM or an OEM-authorized facility. USCG intends to obtain these parts via a Firm-Fixed-Price contract action, with full delivery of all 20 modules by October 2020 to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Any interested party may submit a capability statement, along with a statement that it can provide the modules in full by October 2020 and evidence showing full traceability and certification by the OEM or an OEM-authorized facility. Please provide the requested documentation to the USCG Contracting Officer, Mr. Nathan Dolezal, by 1:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, 26 February 2020. Responses received after that time and date may or may not be considered by USCG. Unless USCG finds an alternative manufacturer / supplier of the components, USCG intends to solicit and award this contract action to Intertrade in March 2020.
