The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if its determined that only one source is reasonably available to satisfy agency requirements, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The USCG intends to award on a sole-source basis a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to: Blair, Inc. 7001 Loisdale Road Springfield, VA 22150-1904 The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain Contractor support to Design, Fabricate and Install a 7-10 section display panel telling the USCG Combat Story in corridor 4A of the Pentagon. The theme of the display is about the USCG's history from the American Revolution to present day. Please see the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional details on this requirement. The period of performance will be six (6) months from the date of award. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be used solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any costs connected with providing capability information will be provided.
