The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is releasing this request for information (RFI) for the USCG's Boating and Safety Division's (CG-BSX-2) Recreational Boat Testing and Compliance Program (RBTCP), in accordance with the drafted statement of work (SOW). See the attached RFI and draft SOW. Notice: The RFI sent out is issued for information purposes only and do not constitute a solicitation or commit the government to award a contract or contracts now or in the future. Submitting information in support to the associated RFI is voluntary, and participants will not be compensated. Information provided will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the government will arise as a result of contractor presentations or information provided during or in preparation for the presolicitation conference or the government's use of such information. This request does not constitute authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for these efforts. The information provided may be used by the Coast Guard in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work/performance work statement, and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition-sensitive information contained within their response.
