United States Secret Service (National Computer Forensics Institute) – 2020 Valleydale Road Suite 209, Hoover, AL 35244 intends to award a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the acquisition of 300 X-Bit Software licenses from Teel Technologies. USS (NCFI) intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed price contract for 300 X-Bit licenses to Teel Technologies pursuant to authority 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304 (C ) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2). The proposed solicitation number for this effort is 70US0922Q0090008. The delivery for this acquisition is to the NCFI. The acquisition of the X-Bit Digital Evidence Management System software will enable the NCFI to maintain configuration of database relationships and context fields that are normally locked down in other similar software types. Teel Technologies is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the X-Bit Software and does not have any authorized resellers and is the only known provider. The applicable North American Industrial (NAICS) code for this effort is 541519 with a corresponding size standard of $25.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is 20 December 2021.
