The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Secret Service (USSS), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking information from industry to assist with the planning of a potential new requirement. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. In order to ensure responsive and efficient mission support, the USSS requires a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) all-inclusive cellular communications services and equipment contract that guarantees reliable services and devices. The intent is for the USSS to receive all necessary equipment, services, infrastructure, emergency support and Radio Frequency (RF) engineering or survey support, all at one pre-determined cost as per RFI attachment. RESPONSE GUIDELINE: Interested parties are required to respond to this RFI with a white paper not to exceed 3 pages, single spaced, in addition to filling in section 10.0 Market Research in the attachment provided. Responses may specifically describe the offeror's capabilities but will not be considered unless section 10.0 of the attachment is filled in accordingly and submitted. Oral communications are not permissible. QUESTIONS: Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to eliana.york@usss.dhs.gov NO LATER THAN 5:00PM EST Friday 4 December 2020. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Answers to questions will be posted via Beta Sam. The Government does not guarantee that questions received after 4 December 2020 will be answered. The Government will not reimburse companies for any costs associated with the submissions of their responses. This RFI is NOT a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately, award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this synopsis. All information contained in this RFI is preliminary as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials.
