This announcement, and its attachments, constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The USSS intends to issue one Firm Fixed Price contract. UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE intends to award a BRAND NAME contract for: 1. 2 two (2) Smiths Detection Hi-Scan X-ray machines, a. 6046Si Single View X-Ray Inspection System w/ roller table b. 7555si Single View X-ray Inspection System w/ roller table 2. Hi-Scan advanced Software Package, 3. Installation of both machines 4. Upgrade standard one-year warranty of both machines to Smith's Detection on-site Priority one-year service agreement 5. Removal/Disposal of existing machine In order to maintain operations, the contractor shall perform routine maintenance, repairs as needed if a unit breaks, and radiation leak testing. NAICs code 561621 with a size standard of $20,500,000.00. Offerors believing themselves capable of providing the above referenced requirement shall provide the requested documentation to the Point of Contact below NO LATER THAN date specified in Block 10 of the attached RFQ. This solicitation will include the following: 1. RFQ 70US0919Q70090125 (SF18, Statement of Work and Clauses) 2. Brand Name Justification Amendments to this synopsis/solicitation, if any, will be posted here in the same manner as the initial synopsis and solicitation.
