The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. This notice is issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to identify qualified contractors capable of providing preventative maintenance and ad hoc support for aircraft cabin training simulators as identified in the enclosed draft Statement of Work. The period of performance shall consist of a 12-month base period with four (4) – 12-month option periods. At this time, no solicitation exists. Contractors having the skills and capabilities necessary to provide the stated supplies are invited to provide information to contribute to this market research and sources sought including, commercial market information and company information demonstrating their ability to perform the work. The applicable NAICS code is 488190 Maintenance and Repair Services, Aircraft (Other Support Activities for Air Transportation) with a size standard of $40M. All businesses capable of meeting the qualifications and have the ability to meet requirements of the Statement of Work are invited to respond electronically. Responses shall include company name, address, Unique Entity ID (UEI) number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (i.e. small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 488190 Maintenance and Repair Services, Aircraft (Other Support Activities for Air Transportation). The TSA reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. All business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the TSA in making a set-aside decision. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 5 pages, using Times New Roman 12 Font. At a minimum the statement of capabilities should: Describe the company’s ability to address the services and tasks described in the Draft SOW. Discuss your company’s experience in providing maintenance and ad hoc support for aircraft cabin training simulators. Please describe any information beyond what is already in the draft Statement of Work your company needs in order to provide accurate firm fixed pricing. Any interested contractors capable of providing these services is requested to respond.
