TSA has awarded Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. a contract to provide Advanced Imaging Technology systems and all associated services and support. AIT systems are transportation security equipment used to screen passengers at airport checkpoints. The award was made under a Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition, reviewed and approved under TSA procedures and published per FAR Subpart 6.3 and FAR 6.303-2, with statutory authority under FAR 6.302-1. The published document contains redactions confirmed by the Government as contractor proprietary information, and the Government previously published its intent to use other than full and open competition and considered public comments. The Government does not intend to respond further concerning this publication.
