Special Update (December 14, 2023): TSA has received a great number of responses to this RFI, and thanks the participants for their valuable feedback. TSA is proceeding with Procurement Strategy plans at this time, no further responses are needed for our Market Research. To this end, TSA has updated the APFS notice F2023062768, to provide all interested parties the most current procurement information we are currently at liberty to disclose. We have also included an updated Statement of Objectives for review and consideration. Please note, that due to the significant amount of interest, as well as our intent to release the solicitation as soon as possible, TSA does not intend to respond to individual inquiries, other than to direct interested parties to this the above noted RFI and the APFS announcement. To do so would further delay the release of this procurement. We will continue to update the APFS as more information is able to be released. Original information (July 20, 2023): TSA intends to gather information through this Request for Information (RFI) notice, to determine what the capabilities and interests of the marketplace are and will use the results of this research to Determine if there are sources capable of satisfying the agency’s requirements; What Strategic or Government wide contract vehicle will likely result in the greatest number of competitive offers; and Determine whether the acquisition should utilize any of the small business programs in accordance with FAR part 19. Please reference Attachment 1: DRAFT Statement of Objectives (SOO) for TSA’s potential requirement for an Enterprise Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Program Services solution. The objective of this potential requirement is to obtain not only professional ISSO resources to support incremental growth but to also provide TSA enterprise-level centralized oversight and management, to include ISSO and System Owner training.
