The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Canine Training Center (CTC), in conjunction with the National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP) is issuing this combined Sources Sought - Request for Information (hereafter RFI) to solicit Industry’s capabilities and inputs on TSA’s requirement for basic and ready canines. The basic canines shall have the potential to be trained as either Explosive Detection Canines (EDCs) or Passenger Screening Canines (PSCs), possessing the capability to detect person borne improvised explosive devices and the trained canines shall be fully trained conventional explosives detection canines with advanced passenger screening capabilities. This RFI is being conducted for market research purposes only. Responding to this RFI does not guarantee an award of a contractual agreement, nor does the Government guarantee that a request for quotation will be issued as a result of this RFI. All interested and qualified businesses (i.e., Small Business, Other than Small) are encouraged to respond to this notice in accordance with the instructions addressed herein.
