The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to solicit quotations from small businesses under a total small business set-aside to perform Janitorial Services for TSA occupied space at the Reno – Tahoe International Airport (RNO) located at 2001 East Plumb Lane, Reno, NV 89502. The contractor will provide janitorial maintenance services, seven (7) days a week for approximately 7,217 square feet of TSA-occupied space. This acquisition will be a total small business set aside and conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 "Janitorial Services". TSA intends to award a firm fixed price contract with one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods on a competitive basis to one responsive and responsible Quoter. The apparent awardee shall be considered responsible as defined within the meaning of FAR part 9.104-1. TSA anticipates this notice will be amended with the solicitation the week of August 2, 2021; An optional site visit will take place at on or about 10:00 am on August 11, 2021. Confirmation of attendance at the site visit must be expressed one day prior to the scheduled site visit date. The anticipated award date for this acquisition is on or before 9/2/2021. Prospective Quoters are responsible for monitoring the SAM website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
