The Office of Information Technology (OIT), Security Governance Branch (SGB) has a need to procure 60 VIPC1000-XAMDM: US National Sectera vIPer Universal Secure Phones with Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) Connect. The vIPer phone is the only VoIP phone certified to protect information classified at the Top Secret/SCI and below over commercial wired networks. The procurement of new vIPer phones will replace current vIPer phones in the field that require a end-of-lifecycle refresh and will also provide additional units to support new requirements as we move into the USCIS Headquarters in Camp Springs, Maryland. The vIPer works on standard analog networks or on IP networks using SCCP (Skinny Call Control Protocol) or SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)/ AS-SIP (Assured Services-SIP). Additionally, no software update is required to transition between network protocols. The following items are included with the purchse of each Sectera vIPer Universal Security Phone: the PSTN connect adaptor, a RH-11 cable, the VoIP phone chassis, a handset with adjustable foot stand, two Ethernet cables, a power supply, the North American power cable, a User’s manual, and a two-year warranty.
