The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) office seeks to understand the capability and interest of industry partners for improvements in the current U.S. biosurveillance system. CWMD is collaborating with DoD Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), to modernize and enhance the 15-year operational PFPA immunoassay-based bio identification system and leveraging highly specific, reliable, and rapid technologies for CWMD application such as BioWatch.
