Notice ID:70RSAT26RFI000021

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to support market research for its Chemical Security Analysis Center (CSAC). The objective is to identify collaborators for a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to advance a patented human biomarker system for cyanide exposure detection. DHS seeks companies and consortia with expertise in chemical medical countermeasures and a proven background in developing detection technologies for hazardous substances. Responses should detail engineering and design processes, biomarker selection, validation methodologies, cost estimates, development timelines, regulatory navigation experience, and manufacturing scalability. This collaboration aims to provide first responders and the public with state-of-the-art detection technology solutions.
