The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division issued a sole source extension for two (2) months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP319DE3000004 with Universal Protective Service DBA Allied Universal Security Services (AUSS) (450 Exchange Irvine, CA 92602). This extension begins 4/1/2024 and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at a single location in Maryland to allow transition to a new contract to continue critical PSO services at the applicable location. The government solicited and negotiated on a sole source basis with Universal Protective Service DBA Allied Universal Security Services (AUSS), under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
