The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Federal Protective Service Acquisition Division, intends to make a single award under an unrestricted competition for dry cleaning and alteration services. The awardee will be responsible for picking up and dropping off uniform items for dry cleaning and alteration at several locations throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. The resultant ID/IQ contract will consist of a single five-year ordering period (no options) and an additional six-month optional ordering period pursuant to FAR 52.217-8. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial service acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The NAICS code is 812320, Dry-cleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated). The size standard is $5.5 million. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) shall require the submission of a technical & price quotation. The solicitation, RFQ # 70RFP220QEC000015, is anticipated to be released to this website on or about March 26, 2020. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFQ as well as any updates to the solicitation.
