The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to six months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP219DEC000013, with KR Contracting, Inc., 7921 Jones Branch Drive, Suite 400, Mclean, VA 22102-3377. This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer services in Washington, DC until the services are discontinued within the extension timeframe. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with KR Contracting, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to beta.sam.gov following award.
