The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations, Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD), under a total small business set-aside, intends to procure armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at various federal facilities in Tennessee. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. The estimated PSO basic service hours for various locations throughout the state of Tennessee is 1,525,000 hours (305,000 hours annually) for a 60-month period. It is anticipated that a single award, fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract will result from this Request for Proposals (RFP). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561612, Security Guard and Patrol Services. The size standard for NAICS 561612 is $25.5 million. The contract will be awarded for a five-year term, consisting of annual ordering/performance periods. The submission requirements and evaluation criteria are defined in the solicitation. The Contractor is required to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that is not registered or in the process of registering with the System for Award Management A Pre-Proposal Conference will be conducted via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 11/08/2022, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. All interested parties are invited to attend a briefing of this procurement. All prospective contractors must be registered in the SAM (http://www.sam.gov) prior to the submission of their proposals.
