The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the purchase and installation of a Video Surveillance System (VSS) at the Claude Pepper Federal Office Building located at 51 SW 1st Avenue, Miami, FL (Building #FL0061). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 70RFP119RE4000006. This RFP is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621 with a small business size standard of $20.5 M. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. To view the solicitation files, contractors must request explicit access through Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. By requesting explicit access, contractors are consenting to the terms in DHS Form 11000-6 (08-04), "Non-Disclosure Agreement", attached hereto. Request for Proposals (RFP): Offers in response to this Solicitation are to be submitted to Contract Specialist (CS), Andrea Chavoso, at andrea.chavoso@fps.dhs.gov and should be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided in the Solicitation Provisions. All contractors interested in providing a quotation for this project are invited to attend a walk-through of the facility at the address listed above. The walk-through will take place on August 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM ET. Vendors interested in attending the walk-through shall email the Contract Specialist at andrea.chavoso@fps.dhs.gov no later than 2:00 PM ET on August 12, 2019.
