The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to four (4) months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP119DE2000001 with Triple Canopy, Inc. This extension begins 09/01/2024 and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services throughout Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and to allow placement of a new contract to continue critical PSO services at various locations. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Triple Canopy, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A copy of the Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to sam.gov after performance start. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $29 million.
