This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS announcement to be used for preliminary market research purposes only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. PURPOSE The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of businesses to compete and provide electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) charging infrastructure, intended to offer federal agencies electric vehicle recharging stations and ancillary services to support their needs as the federal fleet transitions to electric vehicles under a contract for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer (OCFO). The type of solicitation and contract to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. DESCRIPTION The scope of this acquisition encompasses EVSE infrastructure solutions including scalable solar powered EV Charging Stations, and Mobile Electric Platform solutions, basic installation and other related solutions and ancillary services. Any EVSE ancillary services, offered and accepted by the Government must comply with the applicable requirements described within the attached. RESPONSE Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Submissions shall be received no later than Friday, April 8, 2022, 3:00PM (ET). Each response shall include the following: The Sources Sought number in the subject line, The Small Business Status of the responding vendor, All responsible sources may submit a capability statement (no more than five pages) which shall be considered by the agency. A Point of Contact (POC), phone number, and email address of the person (in the body of the email) to be contacted regarding any correspondence between the Government and the Vendor. The POC shall be capable of addressing questions or issues associated with the submission and content of the sources sought notice, and; Identify any GSA schedules and/or DHS strategic source contracts held.
