U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) on behalf of the DHS Office of Strategic Sourcing, proposes to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Knoll furniture products and services pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(b) Items peculiar to one manufacturer. DHS/OPO intends to limit the number of sources solicited pursuant to FAR Part 8.405- 6(b)(1) for the procurement of Knoll brand name furniture products and services. DHS/OPO intends to solicit Knoll products utilizing GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Large Category- Furniture & Furnishings, Subcategory- “Packaged Office”, Special Item Number (SIN) 33721P, and Large Category Number- Furniture & Furnishings, Subcategory- “Comprehensive Furniture Management Service, Special Item Number (SIN) 541614CF, from the 8 estimated available authorized Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) resellers to ensure a fair and reasonable price. The requirement is to provide products and services peculiar to Knoll product lines by offering a "packaged office" and "total solution" at an estimated cost of $98M. The required Knoll product lines will allow DHS Components to re-utilize existing Knoll furniture or buy new Knoll furniture to match existing configurations. Knoll furniture products are one of the four major furniture product groups existing in DHS Component facilities.
